In Belgium(french part), the cartoon is called "Titi et grosminet" or "Titi et grominet"
Try some queries on Google with this and you will find websites you nerver seen with the usual "Tweety and Sylvester" query

Do you know what? Sylvesters name in France is "Gros Minet" which means 'Big cat'
I think his name in France sounds rather nice, but sometimes the French call him "Sylvestre", rather nice!
